Immaculate, excellent staff and hospitality, gorgeous and classy design, the grounds are a paradise. We had an issue with the Lomprayah ferry and were having the “traveler grumps”, not the responsibility of the resort to fix. But as we would experience every day here, Nick (manager) went above and beyond to provide the best hospitality we’ve experienced in Thailand and anywhere else in our travels. The restaurant and pool manager, Eak, always welcomed us at the pool or meals and remembered us even though we only stayed three days. Natty, one of the restaurant and pool staff was also very friendly and made us feel at home. All of the staff, groundskeepers and housekeepers included, were always ready with a welcome and a smile. The turndown service in the evening, lighting candles and setting out slippers, was an example of the attention to detail the characterized our stay. The grounds, room, pool, and restaurant are all spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained. We stayed in the deluxe garden villa, and it felt very private. The view was of a bamboo covered creek in front, and the beautiful pond and Thai restaurant on the side visible through large windows. The bed was HUGE and comfortable, the AC was strong and effective. The pool area is similarly beautiful, just as in the pictures. The restaurant breakfast and other meals were very good and the ambiance in the evening can’t be beat. Again, the staff took everything to the next level. The location is good, it’s a 5 minute walk to the Fisherman Village and far enough that you don’t get the noise from the music at night. The average age here is probably 50 or older (we’re late 20s), but families would feel welcomed and the quiet is a feature unless you’re looking for a party hotel. We fully recommend staying here, you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Staff went out of their way. We got a surprise birthday cake at breakfast and “Happy Birthday” written in flowers on the bed on my wife’s birthday — totally unexpected. At breakfast they also prepared a separate bowl of rice porridge with chicken on request since she’s allergic to shrimp. Incredible choice at the breakfast buffet. Poolside lounge chairs are the best quality. Teak wood and the cushions have an extra headrest. Sunbeds are managed well. Guests are not allowed to selfishly “claim” them with a towel at 6am like some other resorts allow. Yay! Beach is good, not great. Sand is a bit coarse and water drops off quickly. Fine for swimming, but I wouldn’t let children play in the water here. There’s a roped off area so you can swim without fear of jellyfish. Rooms are very nice and surrounded by lush gardens.

Beautiful hotel set in stunning tropical gardens and right on Bophut beach. It's a short stroll to the Fisherman's Market where there are lots of restaurants and a great night market several nights a week. The rooms are a really good size and kept very clean. The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough to help you and were so friendly. It was my partner's birthday whilst we were there and without me arranging anything all the staff knew and wished him a "happy birthday", from the housekeepers, to the receptionist, the pool guy and the whole breakfast team who brought him a cake and sang happy birthday. Such amazing attention to detail.

Absolutely stunning room! I have stayed at maybe 8-10 hotels along the beach in Koh Samui and this one is hands down the winner! I took my mom to Koh Samui for her 75th Bday and wanted this trip to be extra special. The hotel is right on the beach, the 2 restaurants are delicious, you are directly across the street from the best massages, and this is the most authentic Thai hotel I have ever stayed at. OUR ROOM was not a room, it was like a small home! You are also walking distance to the Fisherman's Village Night Market which we went to 3 times. So much fun staying in this area! Final Score: 10 out of 10

Staff are excellent, attentive and can't do enough for you. Hotel is spotless and maintained to the highest standards. Rooms are exceptional and clean and well equipped. Gardens are beautiful and scenic. Pool is clean and plenty of room to swim and there are plenty of sunbeds for all there and including the beach which is kept clean. Jenny on Reception couldn't do enough and with other Reception staff booked our taxis and trips. As it was our Wedding anniversary we had a welcome decoration on our bed and a bath full of rose petals.
